A two-hour introduction to Embrilliance Essentials, the easy-to-learn embroidery software for Mac and PC. This class is for anyone just getting started with Essentials — or thinking about buying it and wanting to see what it can do before you decide.
In two hours you'll get comfortable with the tools you'll use every day:
- Navigating the Embrilliance workspace
- Opening, resizing, rotating and merging designs
- Adding lettering with built-in and BX fonts
- Saving designs in the right format and sending them to your embroidery machine
Bring your laptop with Embrilliance Essentials installed — the free trial version is fine if you haven't purchased yet.

What to bring to class
- Scissors, pins and basic sewing supplies
- Machine needles (quilting needles for quilting classes)
- Pre-wound bobbins and thread for embroidery projects
- Sewing machine thread and bobbin thread for quilting or fabric construction
- Seam ripper and seam gauge
- Fabric for class and scrap material for testing stitches
- Your machine, machine accessories and don't forget the power cord
- Rotary cutter, mat and ruler (if the class requires it)
- A smile and confidence — you can do this!
