Brother Serger Continuing Education Class — Flowood
Bought your Brother serger from I Can Help Sew? This continuing education class is for you. We focus specifically on the Brother serger models we sell, so you'll learn the features, settings and techniques that apply to your machine — not a generic overview.
This class is free for customers who purchased their Brother serger from I Can Help Sew (Sew Select Plus). Other sergers are welcome at $50, but note the instruction centers on Brother models.
- Getting the most from your Brother serger's threading, tension and stitch settings
- Rolled hems, flatlock, gathering and decorative techniques on Brother models
- Tips, accessories and troubleshooting specific to your machine

What to bring to class
- Scissors, pins and basic sewing supplies
- Machine needles (quilting needles for quilting classes)
- Pre-wound bobbins and thread for embroidery projects
- Sewing machine thread and bobbin thread for quilting or fabric construction
- Seam ripper and seam gauge
- Fabric for class and scrap material for testing stitches
- Your machine, machine accessories and don't forget the power cord
- Rotary cutter, mat and ruler (if the class requires it)
- A smile and confidence — you can do this!
