Sewing Threads - Cotton Thread
Sewing and Embroidery Threads from Brother, OESD, Sulky, Madeira, and Robison/Anton
Q: What is the difference between Sewing Thread and Embroidery Thread?
A: Embroidery Thread is can be polyester or rayon and it is usually shiny or having a more beveled texture. Embroidery Thread is also generally stronger than normal sewing thread to hold in tight stitching for monogram letters in one example. You would not want to use sewing thread for embroidery but you can use embroidery thread for sewing. If the thread is thicker you would want to change your needle.
