Basic Sewing 4 Week Course - Flowood
Description: Learn your machine features, basic sewing techniques, pattern knowledge and the how too’s of sewing from cutting out to completion in this 4-week class. In addition to your choice of pattern selection, we will have class projects covering zippers, buttonholes, hems, gathering, machine knowledge and much more.
Supplies: Basic sewing supplies required (scissors, pins, seam ripper, pen, paper, needles, thread and ruler) and can be purchased at the store if needed. Please purchase supplies the day before or arrive early to do so. If bringing a machine, please ensure it is in good working order. If needing to use a classroom machine, please let the store know so we can have it prepared. Additional supply list will be emailed at time of registration.

It is Dorothy’s goal to share the joy of sewing. Encouraging creativity, and money saving ways and techniques to make sewing a pleasant experience. Dorothy has been an instructor from basic to tailoring, pattern drafting, heirloom, smocking, embroidery, software, Cotton Theory and Square in a Square Quilting and specialty classes from Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, Florida and Mississippi for over 44 years.
