Embrilliance Essentials for Beginners
2 hours | Hands-on | No experience required
New to Embrilliance, or thinking about buying it and want to see what it can really do first? This class walks you through everything you need to start customizing your own embroidery designs with confidence.
You'll learn how to:
- Find your way around the Embrilliance workspace — hoops, zoom, navigation, and the design library
- Explore all the buttons and menus so nothing feels unfamiliar
- Set up your preferences to work the way you do — hoops, mouse wheel behavior, file format, and more
- Open, resize, and merge existing embroidery designs (with automatic stitch recalculation)
- Align and distribute objects for clean, precise layouts
- Recolor designs and sort colors to cut down on thread changes
- Add lettering and monograms using built-in fonts, with the right sizing and placement for towels, bedding, and garments
- Install and use BX fonts — the free, industry-standard format for typing out embroidery lettering instantly
- Save and export your finished design in the correct format for your machine
- Use the Sewing Simulator to preview a design before you ever thread a needle
This is a software-only class — no embroidery machines are used, so bring your laptop (with Essentials installed, or the free demo/trial is fine) and get ready to make the software your own.
I Can Help Sew offers a variety of Embrilliance products. If you don't own Essentials yet, you can purchase a copy from our store. Please let us know if you would like to purchase.
