Download our Class Policies

A 2-class workshop on Friday June 19th and June 26th from 10:00-1:00. This class is for new sewers, beginning or sewn before. You will learn to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, sew straight stitch and the use of decorative stitches. We will complete a PJ pants project and parents are welcome to stay. 

Supplies: Basic sewing supplies required (scissors, pins, seam ripper, pen, paper, needles, thread and ruler) and can be purchased at the store if needed. Please purchase supplies the day before or arrive early to do so. If bringing a machine, please ensure it is in good working order. If needing to use a classroom machine, please let the store know so we can have it prepared. Additional supply list will be emailed at time of registration.

It is Dorothy’s goal to share the joy of sewing. Encouraging creativity, and money saving ways and techniques to make sewing a pleasant experience. Dorothy has been an instructor from basic to tailoring, pattern drafting, heirloom, smocking, embroidery, software, Cotton Theory and Square in a Square Quilting and specialty classes from Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, Florida and Mississippi for over 44 years.
