The Brother High Shank Ruler Foot is built for quilting with rulers and templates, featuring a higher, thicker edge than standard free motion feet to keep rulers from sliding under the needle. Its polished coating lets rulers glide smoothly, and the ½" diameter delivers a precise ¼" clearance on either side of the needle when centered. An oval cutout minimizes skipped stitches while keeping the needle drop point clearly visible.

Overview

Designed to be used when quilting with rulers or templates, the edge of this ruler foot is higher/thicker than other free motion feed to prevent the ruler from sliding under the needle as you are stitching. Our Brother foot has a polished coating to allow the ruler to glide more easily. The diameter of ruler foot is ½”. When the needle is in the center position, this gives a perfect ¼” to either side of the needle.
