The Brother Low Shank Ruler Foot is built for quilting with rulers and templates, featuring a higher, thicker edge than standard free motion feet to keep rulers from sliding under the needle. Its polished coating lets rulers glide smoothly, and the ½" diameter delivers a precise ¼" clearance on either side of the needle when centered. An oval cutout minimizes skipped stitches while keeping the needle drop point clearly visible.
