The Slim Line 2 Chassis

The heart of the Slim Line Clamping System is the Clamping Chassis. This is how the top and bottom windows are loaded to hold the fabric and backing to be embroidered. The single lever opens, closes and locks the windows, sandwiching the fabric and backing in between the top and bottom windows. The clamping windows mount to the base and clamp arms and the mounting adapter attaches to the sides. All this in a package that is only 1” high.

Window Sets

Window Sets for the Slim Line 1 come as a 2 piece set. There is a base adapterwindow that fits into the base of the clamp chassis, and a top clamping window. The window sizes are quickly and easily changed by hand I seconds with no tools required.

There are (7) different window sizes to choose from with the Slim Line 2 Clamping System.

12.0 x 9.0 (305 x 127 mm)The 12×9 window is the largest window available for the Slim Line 2 and a popular choice for embroiders who sew large designs. Typical applications include blankets, sports bags towels, chair covers, car mats and flat piece work.

The 9×9 window works well in large pockets of duffels, tote bags, towels, blankets and pillow cases.

The 8×8 window is a nice size for general large logo work. It works well for left chest on heavy jackets.

4.5”x 9.0” (114 x 230 mm)

The 4.5 x9.0 window is twice as long as it is wide which makes it perfect for pant legs, sleeves on jackets, sweaters and sweat shirts. It also works well for the area between the handle straps on canvas tote bags.

The added room at the shoulders of the 12×5 allows a place for fabric to accumulate when sewing in toward the middle of large piece of fabric or garment. It will also work well for the front of sweaters and sweat shirts.

8.0”x 5.0” (203 x 127 mm)

The 8×5 is a smaller version of the 12×5 with the same added room at the shoulders of the 12×5 allows a place for fabric to accumulate when sewing in toward the middle of large piece of fabric or garment. It will also work well for the front of sweaters and sweat shirts.

Mounting Adapters

The SLIM LINE Clamps attach directly to the drive bar/drive rail of the embroidery machine and because each machine is different, we make mounting adapters to fit specific machines. Adapter styles are available for nearly all major industrial embroidery machine manufacturers and machine types.
